Fujikura Ltd. Files Lawsuit Against Vibrant Technologies Inc.

Spartanburg, SC - On Friday, August 21, Fujikura, Ltd., located in Tokyo, Japan, filed a complaint in Federal District Court in New Hampshire against Vibrant Technologies, Inc. of Minnetonka, Minnesota. The complaint alleges that Vibrant has committed various acts of unfair competition including trademark counterfeiting and trademark infringement in its unauthorized sale of Fujikura fusion splicers that had been made for use in China and whose original serial numbers had been removed.
