AFL Recipient of IABC Palmetto Awards, Receives Top Honors

Spartanburg, SC – AFL, a leading global fiber optics manufacturer and service provider, was the recipient of five 2015 Palmetto Awards presented by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) in South Carolina. The awards recognize businesses from across the state for communications excellence and were selected based on evaluations by IABC judges in the Dallas, Nashville and St. Louis chapters.
AFL’s Marketing Communications Team received five Awards of Excellence for the following campaigns:
- Swage Bus and Cable Accessories Product Launch
- United Way Annual Campaign
- AFL Turns 30
- Marketing Automation (Marketo implementation)
- AFL Fall Festival
AFL also entered two campaigns for the IABC Southern Region Silver Quill award. Similar to the Palmetto Award, organizations are invited to submit their work over the past year to be judged. AFL’s Marketing Communications Team won an Award of Excellence for its 2015 United Way Campaign and an Award of Merit for its AFL Turns 30 campaign.
