21/06/2015
Spartanburg, SC – Light Brigade associates donated $4,000 to United Way of King County during its annual campaign. Themed “United in Caring – Paint a Brighter Tomorrow,” associates learned more about the need in their community and were given the opportunity to contribute through the week-long campaign.
“As a company, we look for any opportunity we can to give back to our community. We hope to foster a better well-being for our neighbors in need and to show them we really care about them through this campaign,” said Rick Atchison, marketing specialist with the Light Brigade.
Cole Hardman, account executive with United Way of King County, lead the kickoff lunch where associates learned more about United Way’s impact areas including ending homelessness, giving kids an equal chance, keeping families stable and supporting youth. On average, more than 98 cents per dollar donated to United Way of King County goes directly to the local community.
Four additional AFL locations participated in this year’s United Way campaign including Belmont, NH, Lowell, MA, Atlanta, GA and Spartanburg, SC.
